About the event
The London premiere of Jazzical Komitas brought together the rich musical heritage of Armenian composer Komitas with the improvisational spirit of jazz. Presented by the Klingen Choir and Cultural Association with the support of the Embassy of Armenia, the concert featured pianist and composer Joel A. Martin, conductor and performer Sipan Olah, the Klingen Chamber Orchestra, the Klingen Choir, and fellow musicians in a vibrant fusion of Armenian musical tradition, classical artistry, and contemporary jazz.
